Loren's WIld Bison Hunt

This November Loren was able to go on a once-in-a-lifetime wild bison hunt in the grand teton national forest. When I say once-in-a-lifetime....I mean it. LOL. While on his hunt, Loren met lots of people who had been putting in for a tag, for the past 15 years. Loren was lucky enough to draw a tag in his first year! Since Loren got a buffalo this year, he will NEVER be able to put in for this tag again!!!! So as you can guess, this hunt was the highlight of Loren's year. Oh and also the highlight of his dad and brother's year......Well maybe not the highlight. But, it's pretty close!

Heading back to camp, after an evening hunt. What a beautiful sunset?
On the last day of his hunt, things finally worked out! Loren shot a possible record book bull-
Weighing over 1,000 pounds.....and putting close to 500 pounds of meat in our freezer!

Loren, Tate, and Dad.

After realizing the beastly size of a wild bison, dad findly convinced Loren and Tate to call in a team of horses to pull it out.

Giving the horses a break.

Taking down camp. Overall, it was a great week.
Loren will never forget the memories he shares, with family, on their hunting adventures!

Congratulations, Loren! So what's bigger than a buffalo that you can hunt next year?
